Lahab Al-Samarrai is a licensed clinical psychologist in full-time private practice with over 15 years of experience working with patients from children and adolescents onward in individual psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, couples, family, and group therapy. In addition he supervises a group of therapists who practice in Illinois
 
Office hours are available by appointment and we will be happy to bill your insurance company. We belong to many (but not all) managed care and preferred provider health plans both in Washington and in Illinois.

In addition to his counseling practice, Lahab provides supervision to child and adolescent psychotherapists and is a sought-after lecturer on violence prevention in schools.  His dissertation explores a methodology for reducing bullying and promoting non-violent conflict resolution in schools that was pioneered at the Institute for Conflict Management in Zurich, Switzerland by Dr. Allan Guggenbuhl.
